This opiniated article seems to have many wrong facts.
At no time has the kenyan military purchased any second hand helicopters.
ONLY the police have done so and none of these has crushed.

Yes some people/countries do not have a clear distiction between the police and the military- sometimes lumping the two together as a country's security forces.
