Kenya: the Blessed older brother of uncivilized Somalia.

Regional & GeoPolitical Issues

How can my foolish people, mere parasites of this world once to Somali desert, another to Kenyan hospitality, another to Western welfare aid ever think of sizing up the great Kenyan state to the non-existent mad max world known as Somalia?

The great Republic of Kenya

The curse known as Somalia

How can any rational being compare? But then of course my cursed people have never been known for rationality and logic.

I agree which is why Kenya for its own security MUST implement and forcefully establish the state of Azania that will protect its borders and stabilise Somalia.

The rest will be taken care of when the North and South unite for fun like the good old days.

Karibu bwana Voltage. For better or worse Kenya and Somalia share a common future. Somalia is a beautiful country with beautiful people. Some of us hope that one day it will be possible to visit the place for leisure or business.
Voltage wrote:Salutations my Kenyan neighbors and regional brothers. My name is Voltage and I am an avid admirer of Kenya, what it has achieved, and its unique ability to self-correct its imperfections in a stagnant and regressive backwater of the world. As a Somali, born in Mogadishu, but hailing from Jubbaland in particular I think I think I am in a position to thank Kenya for all the patience and goodwill it has shown the Somali nation in the past unfortunate 20 years. There are many Somalis like myself appreciative of the state of Kenya and the Kenyan people and will make sure to strengthen the economic, political, and social ties between the Somali people and the Kenyan state.

Don't mind the Somalinet troll hordes who have invaded this section. I come only to show the muti-nicking charlatan is shown to be a sorry excuse of a slime ball for bringing ill will to this forum catering to our Kenyan brothers.

Mahadsanidin walaalayaal reer Kiinya. Thank you my Kenyan brethren.

Voltage suffers from Bibolar disorder.

Soon after the tribal counsels complete their consultations in Doollo, will he ride the Bare hiiraale band wagon, abandoning his new found nobility.

Part of why Ethiopia is hated by Somalis is because it meddles in the foreign affairs of civil war Somalia. Kenya, more civilized and good hearted has shown tremendous patience and support to Somalis irrespective of domestic political wrangling inside Somalia.

We must separate the current Kenya actions into two issues: 1.) Kenya's right to secure its borders and be inside civil war Somalia where the threat emanates from and 2.) Kenya's political intereference in the domestic tribal politics of Somalia.

Coming from Jubbaland (what you call Azania) I support issue number one name after the recent kidnappings and attacks inside Kenya the Republic of Kenya has the right to bring the war to inside Al Shabaab territory. However while I am support of a southern Somali federal state in Jubbaland (Gedo, Middle Jubba, and Lower Jubba regions) and wish to see a time where that state neighboring Kenya has even increased political and economic links, I am not a supporter of the current Azania thing which is not that considered important by me.

Asante rafiki yaangu, in a time where Europe is unifying and only large states succeed in this globalizing world, in the future when Somalia can bring something to the table, I even support a confederation extending to Tanzania. We do share a common border and there will be a moment when money trumps politics and tribalism. Increased business and commercial links will lead to an even closer people with mutually safeguarded investments.

My cursed people just have to rise out of the current rut.

Yalaxoow, I am not a believer in tribalistic dogma and supra-ethno nationalism. I believer in pragmatism over ideology and realism over idealism. If I see something wrong with my people, I will chastise them everywhere whether it embarrasses them or not. Worrying about saving face while your house has burned over is so retrograde, primitive, and so Somali.

I will never support my countrymen in wrong; only right. In wrong I will be their biggest enemy.
