Kichwa - obviously this would be horribly wrong and insupportable. But it would not be the first time that someone in Kenya shot their way to power clambering over the dead bodies of fellow Kenyans. Kajwang, Nyong'o, Balala, Kone,Sirma,Orengo, Ruto, and many other luminaries of a certain political party are on record for effectively forcing suspension of the rule of law Kenya in January-February 2008 through a incremental program of violent agitation and social chaos with daily chants over the print and electronic media of ''no Raila = no peace = no tranquility'', barely five years ago!! Why do you always have a shallow brain? The entire world had to come up with NARA and coalition government just to quell the fires in Kenya after the disputed elections. To avoid fires, the court will do what is right.....Kenya is not a sophisticated place yet for top notch politicians to be yanked off the race without some serious consequences. There is no doubt in my mind or sane Kenyan that uhuruto supporters will go ballistic should the two be barred from running. With those realities in the air, the judges will do the right thing because they know way better than you. The Kenyan constitution is not perfect yet and overtime, it will be amended just like any new constitution in any country. I also hope the judges knows the definition of democracy... government by the people; especially rule of the majority or a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections. GEMAKAMATUSA is part of the majority; so, let them decide whether wsr or Uhuru is fit for the higher office. If you take the two folks out, the democracy and the will of majority will have been tampered with....

First and foremost i dont smoke. secondly my opinion is based on the simple assumption that uhuruto are innocent till proven quilty. What happens when the courts (ICC) return a not quilty verdit on one or both? Will then our courts overturn their verdict and unbar them to run when they are time bad? Asante.

Some are held in jail without bail. Some like Uhuru and Ruto are free with conditions, some have travel restrictions that seriously curtail there freedom and therefore bars them from performing certain duties. Also, there are many kenyans who are innocent until proven guilty and are being held without bail or cannot afford the bail. How come their inability to ran for office or work is not bothering you that much.

There is no reason why somebody who is charged with the highest criminal offence in the world should be left to walk scott free while others on less charges are locked up or even denied bail. Does that ring a bell to you? What could be the reason to all this if the law is to be followed especially by an international court? The answer is simple. PEACE AND TRANQUILTY..... until such a time the verdict is made, the boys will remain innocent.

Although different jurisdictions have different rules on bail, the standard is whether a person is a fligh risk or a danger to themselves. The ICC apparently deteined in their infinate wisdom that uhuruto are not a flight risk. In other words they know where to find them, bag 'em and haul 'em to the big housebifbthey fail to show-up for court. When the trial begins their freedom will be grossly curtailed and I cannot understand why anybody would want someone like that to run for their coumty's president. You must really have a very little regard for your country.
