Uhuru ndaaani kabisa!
The NASA leader has called on Kenyans to remain calm as his team follows up with IEBC to try to resolve the issue.
Raila has urged IEBC not to declare Uhuru the winner until matter raised by NASA team has been resolved.
To summarize; Raila ODINGA, Kalonzo Musyoka affirm elections MUST be about the Sovereign Will of the People of Kenya, firmly REJECT results as streamed by IEBC, parade paper-trail evidence of interference with IEBC system between 12noon and 5pm on 8th Aug.; urge Kenyans to keep CALM. NASA scheduled to share with Kenyans results tallied at the ‘cloud’
In case IEBC goes ahead to declare Uhuru the winner the NASA will contest the results at the supreme court.
Last night the International Community Observers Missions threatened to storm out of Bomas if flawed figures that were being streamed without solid back up documents stopped.
IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati and his team convened a crisis meeting with NASA and Jubilee agents to calm the waters.
Meanwhile, Civil rights groups have joined the Opposition in disputing presidential results transmitted by the IEBC.
Under ‘Kura Yangu Sauti Yangu’, they said the results do not conform with constitutional requirements requiring the support of form 34A.
“Since it started announcing results yesterday, the IEBC has not made available, as required by law, copies of form 34A on its public portal,” group chair George Kegoro said on Wednesday.
The group also claims IEBC is deducting votes from Opposition leader Raila Odinga and adding them to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tally.
He said results transmitted varied in forms acquired in Dagoretti North, Langata, Nandi Hill, Kisumu Central and Kipchebor polling station in Ainamoi.
In Kilimani ward, Kegoro said, the form claims no rejected votes were recorded, contradicting portal results showing four votes.
He said the form also noted 508 valid votes while the IEBC portal reports 504.
He added that at South C’s Kewi polling station, results from stream one contradict the valid votes recorded.
While 439 votes were recorded on form 34A, the IEBC said 416 votes were recorded.
In Kipchebor, the group claims four votes were deducted from Raila and given to Uhuru.
Earlier in the day, Raila claimed IEBC’s system was hacked using the login details of the late ICT manager Chris Msando.
“We have caught them. Hackers gained entry into the election database through Msando’s account and directly into chairman Wafula Chebukati’s account,” the NASA presidential candidate told a press conference.
IEBC acting ICT director Msando, who was to test the KIEMS, was tortured and murdered. Opposition leaders blamed Jubilee but police are still investigating.
