NASA: No Elections

Unread post by vooke » Wed Sep 13, 2017 9:19 am

NASA Parliamentary Group this afternoon resolved as follows:

1: There will be no elections in Kenya on October 17 if the concerns of the Coalition are not addressed.

2: NASA is not talking about election boycott. There will be no elections to be boycotted.

3:NASA Members of Parliament will not participate in proceedings of the the two houses of Parliament or in house committees.

4: NASA will dedicate it's efforts towards saving the country from an emerging dictatorship and ensuring electoral justice.

5: NASA will shortly institute criminal and contempt of court proceedings against individual IEBC and election officers found to have committed illegalities and irregularities during the August 8 polls.

Then Uhuru will be declared President-elect by virtual of being unopposed. Nasa cannot purport to dedicate to iebc whom they should hire and fire.
I think the law on missing 8 consecutive seating of Parliament without Speaker 's knowledge/permission/whatever still applies. Then the seats are declared vacant. We have a mini general election.

Maneno kwisha. If its violence, who said Jubilee can't defend themselves? Raila is walking his supporters to the slaughters. Either through peaceful means as election or so called mass action.

The message is intentionally cryptic to draw attention and probably stir national conversation

Elections will go on with or without Naswa. It is the law. NASA's demans are irrelevant to the operations of an INDEPENDENT legal entity, IEBC

I saw ODM members in the house today like Ole Kenta. The elected members from outside Nyanza are already defying Raila and Kalonzo who have no jobs but are millionaires. Expect this moronic nonsense to unravel very fast with denials about this particular demand. Which daft NASA MP will risk a job he has spent a fortune to win?

How will they enforce their 'No elections' call? Simple! Raila/Kalonzo still have to submit nomination papers again since this is a fresh election. If Raila boycotts nomination, then there will no election since his name will not be on the ballot, and Uhuru will be sworn in unopposed!

Not sure if mass action will work, it's probably a case of aiming for the sun and landing on the moon

But they may get a sympathetic judge who will declare IEBC as constituted unfit to run elections

That's a good start. Why IEBC would insist on using the same printer when this is a major point of contention leaves one wondering. Would they use the same ballots? Why they have not provided access to an Audit of their electronic system is even more curious. The issues raised by the IEBC chairman of serious concern to the public have not received a public response for analysis, scrutiny and clarification yet this is the process that resulted in nullification. Why the lack of transparency? Election is not an Event but a Process

All of NASA's allegations against Al Ghurair were debunked, and whatever pollution of documents occurred was not in the printing press. The bad documents were introduced by NASA agents and ROs in a conspiracy to sully the election and have AfriCOG contest it for JaKuon. When Kiai was de-fanged by the CBK freezing his money from Soros, Orengo changed his mind and filed the petition. Maraga & Co. did the rest.

Let's give them a chance, as an independent institution receiving public funds in the billions, they are fully capable of answering the matters of concern raised by the IEBC chairman, several political parties and candidates and by the Court of law. We are all waiting

Voodoo,

Call a spade a spade and stop sugar coating. Nusa knows they are losing in a fair contest. Significant opinion makers in Ukambani, Luhyaland, Kisii, all supposedly Nusa strongholds, are crystallising around the buttered side. In short we are looking at a beating with a bigger margin.

What Wetangula said today is a poorly veiled threat. "There will be no elections". The only way Nusa can attempt that is through violence. And elections are the red line for Jubilee.
