Okoyu Oaths: Birth of Uthamakism

Unread post by vooke » Tue Oct 17, 2017 6:08 am

Explains it
WARNING! (ILLUSTRATION: The Mau Mau uprising originated in the 1950s among the Kikuyu people of Kenya, forcing its adherents to swear savage oaths which involved bestiality. Its loyalists advocated ultra-violent resistance to British control of the country.)

ON NO ACCOUNT should this supplement be allowed to fall into the hands of children or adolescents. It should not be read by subscribers, especially women subscribers, who lack strong nerves and tough minds. What is published here is a terrifying document, a horrifying document, an obscene document, but an official document.

If ‘independence’ is to be given to Kenya, Nyasaland and perhaps northern Rhodesia, then at least let the British people know what the British government is doing and the kind of mentality to which their kith and kin in those territories may be sacrificed.

I can think of no more effective means of achieving this object than by circulating to adults this official Kenya government description of the Mau Mau oaths and oath-taking ceremonies.

The oaths are terrible enough, but the actual ceremonies are so appalling in all their vileness and filth and sexual depravity that no editor in the world has taken the responsibility of allowing his readers to study them.

It should be pointed out that decent Africans are as horrified by such happenings as are sane Europeans. It must be said, against this, that about 90 per cent of the Kikuyu – the largest tribe in Kenya – became in greater or less degree infected by Mau Mau.

What follows should not be judged by the first half of it. The document becomes increasingly horrible to read.

Having given my solemn warning that the contents of this supplement should not be seen by the squeamish or the immature, I announce my willingness to face any consequences which may arise as a result of my decision to make known these facts.

Subscribers can now burn the supplement or read on.

Jakuonist, have you been reduced to reproducing vile propaganda written by a white pre-independence colonial segregationist bitter that the tide is turning and independence is imminent?

The colonial M.O. was to paint the mau mau as barbaric oath taking creatins and you have fallen into the trap that you could not help but reproduce the most vulgar of that which seems to fascinate you. This is what eventually led to scholars such as Caroline Elkins from Harvard unearthing documents that had been hidden about the deliberate colonial strategy and forced the British to make payouts. She is not the only one who has looked into these deliberately exaggerated myths for shock effect, multiple scholars have done so!

Today, the so called Uthamakism is a myth propagated by bitter Jakuonists, who made the bed but refuse to sleep in it with their balkanisation strategy that failed to work in 2007, 2013 and now 2017. It is the Jakuonist attempt to isolate and vilify has been used against them as a form of galvanisation and it will backfire against them the same way it backfired against the colonialists. Learn from history as you repeat the myth of "Uthamakism". AFRICOG looks into this, but funny enough, it is Jakuon who instigated it all with his 41 vs 1 2007 campaign which is the crux that this interview steers against touching on. I do not agree with all his views but it is more credible as to the origins of the myth than the self avowed racist that you cite. He deconstructs the myth that Jomo was the leader of the Mau Mau, the myth the colonialist you cite perpetuates oath taking as being about - essentially a colonial construct: https://www.theelephant.info/podcasts/2 ... f-uthamaki
THE REASON FOR PUBLISHING IT MAY BE BRIEFLY STATED.

IF 'INDEPENDENCE' IS TO BE GIVEN TO KENYA, NYASALAND AND PERHAPS NORTHERN RHODESIA, THEN AT LEAST LET THE BRITISH PEOPLE KNOW WHAT THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT IS DOING AND THE KIND OF MENTALITY TO WHICH THEIR KITH AND KIN IN THOSE TERRITORIES MAY BE SACRIFICED.

I CAN THINK OF NO MORE EFFECTIVE MEANS OF ACHIEVING THIS OBJECT THAN BY CIRCULATING TO ADULTS THIS OFFICIAL KENYA GOVERNMENT DESCRIPTION OF THE MAU MAU OATHS AND OATH-TAKING CEREMONIES.
Who is the author of these vile writings?
Arthur Kenneth Chesterton MC (1 May 1899 – 16 August 1973) was a journalist and political activist, born at Krugersdorp, near Johannesburg, in the Transvaal Republic. He was involved in the founding of several far-right movements in opposition to the break-up of the British Empire.
......
Today, the NF describes itself as a "white nationalist organisation founded in 1967 in opposition to multi-racialism and immigration". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._K._Chesterton
In order to observe the parallels between past and present myths it is important to gain a clearer understanding of the colonial myth of the Mau Mau. In his article, Kennedy makes clear the difference between conservative and liberal paternalist perspectives of the uprising of the Mau Mau. The conservatives (almost all white settlers), claimed that Mau Mau developed out of a primitive aggression untamable by Westernization. The whites on this side of the political spectrum were overwhelmingly racist and strong advocators of separatism (Kennedy 245). The liberal paternalists, on the other hand, were much more moderate (if this can be said about any colonial political perspective). They believed the Mau Mau uprising was rooted in the poor economic and social situations the Kikuyu were facing. They believed it wasn’t Africans’ beastly character that caused the conflict but corrosive impact of westernization. They claimed that the good of traditional African civilization hadn’t been effectively replaced with something better – the beauty of western civilization. This side of the political spectrum, Kennedy argues, genuinely cared for the Kikuyu and even promoted racial harmony (Kennedy 251).

However, when the uprising grew increasingly more violent both sides of the political spectrum agreed on the solution to this most significant problem – coercion (Kennedy 252). In October 1953, Dr. J.R. Carother was hired by the colonial government to research the psychological roots of the Mau Mau. His findings were a fine representation of the voice of liberal paternalists. He reasserted that the Mau Mau represented a sort of mental illness. He believed it was rooted in a deep sense of what seems to be essentially societal culture shock. The Kikuyu were Westernized too much too fast. But he still believed “the African” was best suited for success in a European cultural mode. His main prescription was rehabilitation in the form of discipline. But, he prescribed a number of other remedies as well. Dr. Carother argued that urban dwellers should be given a minimum wage capable of supporting families (to cut off ties with rural life) and that Kenyans should be given access to education based on Christian morals (to rid them of pagan influence) (Kennedy 254). He even advised that Africans be given incentives for their loyalty in the form of eventual participation in government (Kennedy 255).

This prescription was designed for the myth of some sort of Mau Mau disease. It brought the Europeans of Kenya together to fight for one cause – the eradication of the Mau Mau. For liberal paternalists it was about fixing a mess they made. For conservatives it was about maintaining the power they deserved. They came from different sides of the political spectrum but in the end this wasn’t enough to keep them from unifying to defend and justify the colonial presence in Kenya.

Clearly a major aspect of the colonial myth of the Mau Mau, as Kennedy represents it, is colonial paternalism. The Europeans in Kenya felt they knew the answer to the Kikuyu’s problems. Today, academics widely deem Africa’s difficulty in sustainable economic development a matter deeply complex. Still, many claim to have the answers. Free trade advocators have especially managed to present their views on the highest of platforms. Few advocates of neo-liberalization are better known than the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF). These institutions have proved to play massive role in the formation of the economic situation of Africa Today. Some background is therefore appropriate.

If read carefully, these official documents will reveal the fact that oathing is deeply rooted in Kikuyu culture and, most important of all, it was done for the purpose of achieving unity and solidarity for a specific political cause. According to Rosberg and Notthingham (1966, 244), the function of oaths was essentially to form social solidarity and raise the level of political commitment. They suggest, however, that oathing is not really unique to Mau Mau. They give Western examples of Bibles and national flags, which frequently sanctified oaths of allegiance or fidelity to a government or its laws. Such oaths were meant to bind the individual, through sacred symbols and ritual, to a larger social entity. The loyalty oath in the United States was designed to distinguish trustworthy from untrustworthy employees; those who took the oaths stated explicitly and publicly their loyalty to
the government. Thus, although the primary as well as secondary discourse on Mau Mau provide an impression of “atavistic voodooism” that is at first
primitive and savage in nature, a subaltern reading of the same discourse will reveal the fact that oath taking was essentially part of the military strategy that emphasized group solidarity and social bond. This is no different from other cultures and societies, including Western societies. https://mahara.org/artefact/file/downlo ... view=70710

As for the publication the fake pastor that is republishing the vile misrepresentation of oaths from:
Eligibility: Any White person (a non-Jewish person of wholly European ancestry) of good character and at least 18 years of age who accepts as his own the goals of the National Alliance and who is willing to support the program described in What is the National Alliance? may apply for membership.
......
Explicitly genocidal in its ideology, NA materials call for the eradication of the Jews and other races — what a principal foundational document describes as "a temporary unpleasantness" — and the creation of an all-white homeland. Founded by William Pierce in 1970, the group produced assassins, bombers and bank robbers, among other things. Pierce's novel, The Turner Diaries, was the inspiration for Timothy McVeigh's 1995 bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City and many other acts of terror. After Pierce died unexpectedly in 2002, the group suffered several splits and ultimately lost most of its members.

The National Alliance (NA) was for decades the most dangerous and best organized neo-Nazi formation in America. Explicitly genocidal in its ideology, NA materials call for the eradication of the Jews and other races and the creation of an all-white homeland.

Despite its organizing successes, the NA was for most of its life a kind of cult of personality. Pierce was the group's chief asset, editing the group's magazine, National Vanguard and the members-only National Alliance Bulletin. https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate ... l-alliance

The fake pastor is happily embracing white supremacists who would not hesitate to string her up on a tree to lynch her. The Jakuonist has been caught peddling garbage and is understandably annoyed that they have been exposed.

Oaths were taken, no question, but they did not descend into the sick pervasions that seem to have awakened the sick pastor into uncontrollable excitement. The Germans, like the Maasai eat blood, theirs is pigs blood, there is nothing unafrican about the consumption of blood, thus the bazungu had to think of the most demented perverted ways of presenting the oaths as the most vile. Thus today brings us to the still sick Jakuonist trying to do what the bazungus tried to do over 50 years ago and failed.

Subscribers can now burn the supplement or read on.

Feckless arsehole, it must be exhilirating to finally throw off your fake cloack of religion and show your true colors. You were too cowardly but now we are seeing the real you. What level of desperation would make a human being lower himself to this level? Dont you have any modicum of shame? You are an example of what is ailing this country of ours.

Explains it

I did not make up the satanic oaths
