NO! ceding territory would only be bringing somali threat closer to non somalis. NEP.is like a barrier that keeps most of those madmen away. besides,it would be shameful and dishonorouble to give them a part of our country for free when we are militarily and economically superior to them.any attempt to attack our territorial integrity should be crushed with indefatigueable severity.

chaos in somalia is better for kenyans. peace and stability in somalia will allow islamic extremism to grow unchecked to the point of attacking kenya which is predominantly christian. look at arabian countries like iran iraq libya egypt . dictatorship in these countries brought peace and stability but gave fertile ground for islamic insanity to grow and spead en masse among the people resulting in violent protests after years of autocratic rule . these protests are intended to establish muslim regimes.

There is nothing to fear there. Fighting another country's army is a lot easier than fighting an amorphous outfit such as the Al Shabaab. Contrary to your suggestion, a stable Somalia is good for Kenya and the region as a whole.
