Are Kenyans Ready For Online Businesses?

Unread post by solidjeff » Mon Feb 11, 2013 4:11 am

I am currently running an online business (Top Selling Christian Books) mostly as a way of raising funds for mercy work. I have worked as a missionary for over four years now and one of the challenges I have consistently encountered is luck of funds. It then occurred to me that with the use of e-commerce, one can be able to raise enough funds when people buy stuff on our online shop and then earn commission from their purchase would be easier than them just giving out money. The site has done relatively well but not to my expectation. It kind of made me start asking this question of whether kenyan's are indeed ready for e-commerce yet. Jeff @

I think they are prepared only that the abilities required are not that easily accessible & free is expensive plus a lot of websites declaring to educate online marketing are actually frauds only after your money.
