With Kosgey as Railas deputy, runoff is sealed.

Discussion of general formal issues!

Kosgey Henry is likely to be Railas runing mate. The idea is not to win kaenjin votes in round 1,but strategically to appeal to kalenjins in round 2 of the elections. With Ruto running and loosing big,the only seat that will be available for him is the majority party leader which is not even guarateed.
Kalenjins will therefore have to weigh the two options, having a deputy president or an amorphous position called majority party leader.Ruto will have no choice but to tosha Raila to avoid embarassment.

Did you notice that the 7000 votes that Kosgey brought to the YES camp were all from the luo tea pluckers in his constituency?

7000 is not a bad figure in RV,If you multiply that with the 70plus constituencies in the expansive RV,you realize Raila gets 500k in RV.

He reformed the ministry of industrialization until okuyus conspired to throw him out in the name of importing cars.

Kosgey will be lucky to deliver 14 votes. Tuju is stronger in Nyanza than Kosgey in Nandi.

Pajero,

The kind of politics you are talking about is too deep for the "air heads". This is a 50/25/24 race and only Raila can ran that race. Raila is already 40/25/24, all he needs is to get the 40 to 50+ and he wins this thing. He only strongest opponent is Uhuru and he has so much problems he may even have to endorse Raila. Ruto is not even worth mentioning. It seems to be either Raila or Mudamba as the next president. Mudamba has to wait for two things to happen, Uhuru is found ineligible and then Uhuru endorses him. Even if that happens, mudamba is not assured the presidency. I suspect that when the reality hits Kenyans that Raila is the next president, all these tribal warlords will rush to endorse Raila.

I know the person who will not be president after march next year, Raila Odinga....if Raila makes it to the second round, the only way he wins is Ruto plus either Kalonzo or mudavadi toshas him. If for the sake of an academic theory Ruto endoses Raila but Mudavadi and Kalonzo renege, he doesn't make it. Raila route to the state house is actually dependent on so many factors, how he makes all this work beats me but in politics, you cannot rule anything out.

FB, how are you doing my friend, Karibu? I think you did not get the Memo. The "I do not who the next president will be, but I know who it is NOT going to be", has been amended and replaced with, "if Raila wins I will work with him and if I win tell hime to work with me". It was only a matter of time before reality sinks in. We forgive Uhuru for making that earlier statement because those were very difficult times. We are now ready to work with the son of Jomo, he is still a young man and we need a non-kikuyu president between Kibaki and the next kikuyu president. Here is the deal for Uhuru, "go to the Hague, clear your name, come back and work with us, then you stand a very good chance after Raila completes his 10 years. Uhuru will only be sixty. There is so much that needs to be done before one becomes the president of Kenya and one of them is Tosha someone like Raila with a huge voting block and a long memory. Uhuru should seriously consider endorsing Raila. Raila's presidency is very important to the change movement and whomever help it happen will be long remembered and those who fight it will also be remembered for a long time. The time is now for the son of Jomo.
